ABA therapy that comes to your family in Miami-Dade
Thrive Behavioral Therapy provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism across Miami-Dade County, with a focus on North Miami-Dade. Instead of driving to a clinic, therapy happens where your child's challenges actually show up: at home, at school and out in the community.
Families in Miami-Dade come to us for help with tantrums and meltdowns, transitions, communication, daily living skills, safety concerns like running off, and making school days go more smoothly. Every plan starts with understanding your child and your family's routines.
ABA services we provide in Miami-Dade
- In-home ABA therapy: tantrums, transitions, mealtimes, bedtime, toileting, communication and safety, worked on during your family's real routines.
- School-based ABA: classroom routines, transitions, participation and coping skills, with collaboration with teachers and IEP/504 teams when appropriate.
- Community-based ABA: stores, parks, restaurants and outings, with safety always first.
- Behavioral assessments, parent training, school consultations and social skills groups.
BCBA-led, family-centered care
Thrive was founded in 2019 by Nechama Devlin, MS, BCBA, who has worked in ABA with children with autism for 15 years. Every RBT (ABA therapist) on our team receives ongoing training and supervision. We look at the whole child, not just the diagnosis, and we teach through play and the natural environment. Parents are partners in every plan. Meet our team.

Frequently asked questions
Please reach us at info@thrivebehavioraltherapy.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Do you have an ABA clinic in Miami-Dade?
No. Our therapists come to you. Services are provided in your home, at your child's school (when the school allows it) and, when appropriate, in the community.
Which parts of Miami-Dade do you serve?
We focus on Miami, North Miami, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside and Bal Harbour, and we can generally provide services anywhere in Miami-Dade. Call us to confirm availability for your neighborhood.
Is ABA therapy covered by insurance?
Often, yes, though coverage varies by plan. We accept many commercial plans, such as Florida Blue, Aetna, Magellan and Tricare, and we can often set up a single-case agreement for other plans. We also accept Step Up for Students. See insurance.
Can your therapist work with my child at a Miami-Dade school?
Usually, yes. Each school has its own rules, and most allow outside providers with approval and the required paperwork. If a school does not allow an outside provider, we can still help by coaching parents and supporting consistency between home and school.
